April 4 & 5: Junior / Senior Weekend; Deaf Awareness Saturday

  • Up to three children will be admitted with each paid adult ticket

  • Participate in the Easter Treasure Hunt throughout each day (children 12 and under)
  • Join us for our 16th Century Easter Church Service on Easter Sunday, at 12:30pm
  • April 18 & 19: Highland Games

  • Cheer amateur contestants on to feats of incredible strength and skill in the annual Scarborough Highland Games competition. Don't miss the Texas Caber Championship
  • April 25 & 26: Royal Ale and Wine Festival

  • Join us in sampling a wide variety of domestic beers and wines at our Beer Tasting and our Wine Tasting. Savor the unique flavor of our Reserve Special Scarborough Mead, a traditional Renaissance honeywine. Learn fascinating facts and discover beverages that tickle your palate.

  • May 2 & 3: May Day Celebrations

  • Come a-Maying at our Spring Festivities! Dance the Maypole, wear a garland, woo your beloved and honor the Queen of the May and her Lord Protector
  • On Sunday, May 3rd we will be celebrating the 500th anniversary of the coronation of King Henry VIII with a grand re-coronation of our King. This unique event will be held at 1:30pm in the Natural Cathedral of the Pecan Grove area of the festival. Presided over by Archbishop of Canterbury, Thomas Cranmer, the re-coronation will make use of the Scarborough Crown Jewels. Scarborough Renaissance Festival has one of only nine copies of the English Crown Jewels in America. Selected pieces will displayed during the 1pm parade as nobles from throughout the Kingdom, as well as foreign lands, make their procession to the "Cathedral."

  • King Henry VIII has invited all couples to join him and his Queen for a Renewal of Vows Ceremony at Noon in the Wedding Garden on both Saturday and Sunday. No reservations are required

  • May 16 & 17: Pirate Invasion

  • Ahoy ye landlubbers, prepare to be invaded by the scourge of the seas! Don yer seafaring duds and bust down the gates of Scarborough Village. Even the pub sing will be in the key of Rrrrr.
